MLCKP2022-029 :: MAHIMA PANDEY

I am Mahima Pandey, from Bhilai City in India. I was always inclined towards drawing and painting but somehow never got around to pursuing it. However, since the lockdown due to the COVID pandemic in March of 2020, I like many others got the opportunity to pursue my passion. I have learnt various artform in these two years Mithila, PHAD and Gond. I have also tried my hands at Pichwai, Warli, Bengal Pattachitra, Kalamkari. Basically, I love the Indian traditional /folk artforms, but Mithila art is my favourite. Its is very close to my heart. For me art is a form of meditation. I make these paintings for my inner satisfaction, peace of mind.
